Pear

Pears contain vitamin C, calcium, vitamin B6 and potassium. They are very sweet because of their high content of fruit sugars. CHB-VITOM uses the Williams variety in its pear products. This particular variety is well-known for its exceptional quality, intense fragrance and flavour.

Pears are grown in Macedonia and Thessaly and their harvest begins in August and lasts until September.

Pear puree: Made from fresh pears of the William variety, which are mashed , unpeeled and destoned and is stored either in an aseptic package in drums or in aseptic tanks for bulk transportation. It is characterized by its intense aroma and delicious taste.
